AIclicks review: what it tracks, where it stops and who it fits

What AIclicks tracks in AI answers, how its plans and trial work, where its pages leave questions open and who it fits, read from vendor pages October 29, 2026.

Last materially reviewed 2026-10-29

Quick answerAIclicks is a paid tracker for AI answers. You enter prompts, and it records which brands and sources appear in answers from models such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews, then suggests actions. It fits teams that will review the data every week, and it is a poor fit when a free weekly check already answers your question.
AIclicks is likely to fit when

✓ Small brands, online stores and agencies that keep a list of questions customers ask and will review results weekly

✓ Teams that want several AI platforms, a source list and an action list in one dashboard

✓ Brands that sell in more than one country and want visibility split by market

✓ Owners who have run the free manual check and want daily history

Important limitations

— Brands still to run their first free manual check

— Owners who track one market with a handful of questions

— Anyone who needs classic keyword or rank tracking rather than AI answers

— Teams that want proof that being named in an answer brings sales

AIclicks review: what it is and what it records

AIclicks is an AI search visibility tool. You add a website and a list of prompts, which are the questions a customer might ask an AI assistant, such as which tool suits a job in your category. AIclicks sends each prompt to the AI platforms your plan includes and stores the answers. For each answer it logs which brands appear, which sources are cited, how your brand is described and the sentiment of the mention, according to its home page FAQ.

This review reads the vendor's pricing page, home page, documentation and terms as fetched on October 29, 2026. Claims about results, customer counts and speed are the vendor's own and are labeled that way.

Strengths: what the vendor lists

  • Tracking: prompts are checked daily, results can be filtered by AI platform and by country, and the full answer sits behind each data point.
  • Sources: a view of which websites the AI answers cite, so you can see where a competitor is named and you are not.
  • Recommendations: a ranked action list that covers content to create, outside sources to approach and community threads to join.
  • Content agent: each plan carries a monthly allowance of AI-optimized articles, 5 on Starter, 15 on Pro and 30 on Business. The terms say to review, fact check and edit generated content before you publish it.
  • Connections: every plan lists a CMS integration, and Pro and Business add GA4, API and MCP access.
  • Free checker: AIclicks offers a free AI Visibility Checker with no signup. Its page describes a one-time snapshot of up to 5 prompts that shows whether ChatGPT recommends your brand, which competitors it names and which sources it cites. A free AI Citation Tracker sits beside it.

Limits and questions the vendor's pages leave open

  • Platform lists differ. The home page FAQ names ten platforms, while the pricing page comparison lists thirteen models, including Naver AI, Mistral and Qwen. Each plan lets you pick only 3, 4 or 6 of them.
  • Query method differs. The FAQ says prompts go through each platform's user interface rather than an API, yet the pricing table tags several models, such as Claude, Grok and Perplexity, with API. Ask which method applies to each model you pick.
  • Response counts are undefined. On Pro and Business the monthly response figure equals prompts times models times 31 days, which is 150 times 4 times 31 for Pro and 300 times 6 times 31 for Business. Starter lists 4,650, which is more than 30 times 3 times 31. The page does not define a response, so ask how it is counted.
  • Presence is not traffic. A benchmark of 95 websites found organic search sent 39 times more visits than AI assistants, and a second study could not find a reliable link between AI visibility and later branded search or direct traffic. AIclicks measures whether you are named in answers, and its GA4 link is on Pro and Business only.

Plan structure and what drives the cost

AIclicks publishes three plans, Starter, Pro and Business, plus a custom Enterprise tier that is booked by call. The vendor says price depends on three things: the number of prompts you track, the number of AI engines monitored and the volume of AI answers analyzed each month. The pricing page also has a monthly and yearly toggle that advertises a yearly discount. Amounts stay on the vendor's live page, so read them from a US view with the toggle on monthly and then yearly. The pricing guide sets the limits of each plan side by side.

Trial, renewal and refund terms to read before you start

  • Trial: a card is required, nothing is charged during the 3-day trial, and the paid plan starts automatically unless you cancel before the trial ends. Trials are limited to one per customer.
  • Renewal: terms renew automatically at the then-current price until canceled, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current term.
  • Refund: the terms offer a full refund of a first payment requested within seven days, once per customer. After that, fees are non-refundable.
  • Allowance: unused prompts, responses and credits expire at the end of each term and do not roll over. The prompt allowance applies across your whole account.
  • Fee changes: standard fees can rise on at least 30 days' notice.

Who AIclicks fits, and who should pick something else

  • Fits: small brands, online stores and agencies that want daily tracking of 30 to 300 prompts across several AI platforms, a source list and an action list in one dashboard, and that will review it weekly.
  • Consider Semrush if you already pay for it for classic search work. AIclicks vs Semrush compares the two.
  • Start with free checks, including the free AIclicks checker, if you cannot yet name ten questions customers ask. How to check AI visibility sets out a weekly routine.
  • Compare more tools in the small business shortlist.
